Summary

Saving Calculators does not collect personal information directly. The numbers you type into our calculators stay in your browser; nothing is sent to our servers. The site is supported by display advertising (Google AdSense), which uses cookies and similar technologies to show ads — these are operated by Google and other ad partners, not by us.

1. Information we do NOT collect

• Calculator inputs — every calculation runs in your browser and is never transmitted to us.
• Email addresses — we do not run a newsletter, mailing list, or sign-up form.
• Account information — there are no user accounts.
• Payment information — the calculators are free; we never request card data.

2. Information we DO collect

Server logs

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider records standard request logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes, then automatically deleted.

Analytics

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (such as Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics) that does not set cookies and does not collect personal data. If we begin using Google Analytics, this section will be updated and IP anonymization will be enabled.

3. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

This site uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC. Google AdSense and its ad partners may use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites;
• Analyze ad performance and audience metrics;
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Advertising Policies. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or, for many ad networks at once, at aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU/UK).

4. Cookies

The only cookies set by this domain are essential cookies (e.g., session-management for the site itself; we currently set none). Third-party advertising cookies are set by Google AdSense and its ad partners — see Section 3.

5. EU / UK users (GDPR)

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your interaction with Google AdSense is subject to the EU User Consent Policy. We will display a consent banner before non-essential cookies are set. You may withdraw consent at any time. Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, port, or delete personal data we hold about you — given that we do not collect personal data ourselves, the practical effect is that requests should be directed to Google for ad-related data. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. California users (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete that information, the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination. We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. To the extent our use of Google AdSense for personalized advertising constitutes "sharing" under the CPRA, you can opt out via the Google Ads Settings page or by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser; we honor GPC signals.

7. Children's privacy (COPPA)

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data security

This site is served over HTTPS. Server logs are stored on the hosting provider's infrastructure with industry-standard physical and network security. We do not collect personal data, so there is little to breach — but we follow standard hardening for the static site.

9. Links to other sites

The calculators link to authoritative sources (IRS, FDIC, EIA, DOL, etc.) and to our editorial blog. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. Read each site's policy before submitting information there.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced via a banner on the homepage for at least 30 days.
